Paul Harrie received his B.F.A. from the University of Kansas, where he studied with Vernon Brejcha, one of Harvey Littleton’s original students. After receiving an MFA from UCLA while studying under the famed glass blower, Richard Marquis, Paul opened his own studio in Southern California in 1980.

He uses a number of color techniques; colored glass canes to produce precise striping, colored powders to create layers and solid color to create color fields.
