Framed in recycled metal; the image of this sensitive Wild Horse touches the hearts of those who want wild horses to remain free. The pendant reverses to another  original portrait painting of a Horse. A special jewelry piece whose images evoke the innocence of a horse and how much a horse’s freedom and family members and family bonds matter to each Horse.  One of the jewelry pieces we love the most!!

Handcrafted with recycled glass lead-free solder.

ALYSSE HENNESSEY’S studio – NETTLES JEWELRY – is Green.

“I’m proud of using salvaged glass, recycled mirror, and vintage candy tin materials. Besides adding to the allure of the vintage treasure look, it’s healthy for our planet. My work reflects the joy I find in the natural world. I hope to create affordable treasures that bring delight and connection to the wearer, and ease the planet by utilizing all recycled and hand fashioned components. My art is heavily influenced by local hikes through old growth forest, fairy tales, Victorian flower symbolism, flea market curios, old botany books, love of textiles and background in theater costuming, by world travel, my two children and our menagerie of animal friends”.
