“I have always enjoyed working with my hands and creating new designs. I studied art at Cal State Fullerton, California. I graduated with my Masters in ceramics and glass. I have been fortunate to make a living with my art for the last 20 years and look forward to the next 20 years.  All components of my pieces and handmade even the equipment I use (Lear, glory hole, bench). Fortunately, I also learned how to weld! “  – Rick Hunter

The artist combines the art of sculpture and painting in a process of free-blowing glass – transforming molten glass at 2000 degrees Fahrenheit into Art Glass – using the skills of calculated timing and continual movement while working the molten glass.

The vases are as functional as they are striking – as a stand alone Art Glass Piece
